Who conducted the study?
The study was initiated by Prof. Martin Widschwendter and Dr. Chiara Herzog at the European Translational Oncology Prevention and Screening Institute, Universität Innsbruck, and conducted with the help of more than 30 collaboration partners at various institutes.
Who can use the data?
We want to ensure our data can be reused and act as a catalyst for research, while protecting sensitive participant data. Anonymised and non-reidentifiable data are openly available following an embargo period under a CC-BY-SA licence.
Sensitive and potentially identifiable data, including epigenetic data, requires that we put more precautionary measures into place to protect our participants. Sensitive data are therefore placed in EGA and underlie a data access agreement. Likewise, linked data are available under restricted access and underlie a data access agreement. Find out more here.
Where can I find the data?
Data links are provided on our website (metadata, intermittent fasting study, smoking cessation study) and in our data description paper.
